Gallery hours after the opening are Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 pm
The Lace Mill is proud to present DUST, Memory Scenes by modern-realist painter and photographer Archil Pichkhadze. Pichkhadze has achieved in his paintings and photographs a balance of visual and emotional complexities through observational realism and fleeting memories. He works prolifically from his studio in New Paltz, NY seeking to tell the truth through his eyes, creating enigmatic scenes resembling dreamlike qualities. Pichkhadze is an award winning artist who has exhibited in juried and competitive shows nationally throughout the years. He earned a BFA in Illustration from The School of Visual Arts before receiving an MFA from Brooklyn College under the mentorship of the renown American painter and influential teacher, Lennart Anderson.
